Target Practice

we've been experimenting with our horses intelligence. The game is to see if they find their own stable/breakfast - most mornings its a little less chaotic that todays but nonetheless they all ended up where they are supposed to be without any intervention!

another cake in Fridge ...

I fell of the Colonel yesterday - bit of a disagreement about re-engaging right canter after he broke ranks and was asked to fall back in line .... managed a tuck and roll - lucky, surface very nice to land on!  So as per Fairview Rules - fall off equals a Cake penalty!

Jumping Clinics with Captain Richard Waygood

All spaces taken for the 29th ... watch this space for more dates in October!

Smart Ponies

Because of puddle by the field gate I didnt want to get my feet wet so I went for an ambitous "catching" session this morning.  Tried to catch the horses as they came out the field ...well,  I managed to collar Duke, grab Colonel Pants' rug and then Connor, pushed through and went right up to his own stable without a hedcollar - what a rockstar!
